Boost Your COVID-19 Resiliency and Immune System with Dr. Joseph Mercola

Dr. Joseph Mercola
This episode could save your life or the life of a loved one and I’m not being hyperbolic about this. For instance, after conducting this interview, I ordered and now have on hand food grade hydrogen peroxide and a nebulizer along with the tube and mask. It’s ready to go in case I or anyone I care about starts showing respiratory symptoms of COVID-19. My guest today is Dr. Joseph Mercola. Dr. Mercola does not shy away from controversy. He’s angered many powerful corporations over the years. But his army of fans and customers believe he is doing incredibly important work as an advocate for all of us to take our health into our own hands.
I was first exposed to Dr. Mercola a few years ago, at Dave Asprey’s Bulletproof Biohacking Conference, where Dr. Mercola keynoted. There’s a throng of people surrounding him after his presentation, and I was one of them. Fast forward to 2020, and Dr. Mercola actually became one of my clients. I helped him conceive of and launch the StopCOVIDCold.com website. Dr. Mercola has been a proponent of vitamin D as a protector from COVID-19. And he has a lot of scientific studies to back that up. This episode isn’t just about COVID-19 prevention and resilience. It’s about warding off dementia, osteoporosis, cancer, heart disease, and many other preventable ailments. Dr. Mercola has demonstrated time and time again that if you’re optimizing your health, you’re increasing your resiliency to all diseases. So let’s learn how we can build our immune systems. Let’s do this!
Success Principles of a Hall of Fame Speaker with Don Hutson

Don Hutson
Customer service miracles, adaptability skills, The One-Minute Negotiator—these are some of the most-requested presentation topics for talks given by my renowned guest in today’s podcast, Don Hutson. Don is the past President of the National Speakers Association, he is a coach and an author of 16 books, including The One Minute Entrepreneur, which sold over one million copies. His formula in coaching clients is (Vision + Skills + Discipline) x Passion = Outcome. With passion being the force multiplier.
In this episode, we talk about what it takes to be an effective coach—how you can teach your processes that you know work, but there’s got to be some respect for the individuality of your coaching client because no two people are the same. Don is an avid reader and has a lifetime of experience and advice to impart about writing powerful books, including one tip that he learned early on, which is, “it’s better to write a good book than a fast book.” Don has so much wisdom to impart about facing down whatever it is that scares you and the amazing things that can happen when you leverage the power of focus and determination. So, without any further ado, on with the show!
Find Your Peace and Purpose with Guru Singh

Guru Singh
My discussion with Guru Singh today reminded me that we’re all living in this sort of inverted pyramid, where we deal with the concrete realities around us at the tip of the pyramid, but above us, there’s the rest of the reality of our universe, the 99% that we’re not experiencing because it’s in higher dimensions, higher realms of existence. But knowing it’s out there helps you to live more intentionally and not just get stuck in the day to day, when you realize there’s a much, much bigger picture. Electric, vital, and vibrant, Guru Singh is a celebrated third-generation yogi, master spiritual teacher, author, and musician.
In this episode, I am honored to borrow Guru Singh to talk about his teachings. We talk about the concept that we don’t learn, we learn how to learn. Actually, the information is already with us, we just have to be open to that information, which is why it’s called re-member, re-call and re-cognize. We talk about how the basis of most spiritual teachings is to unmap and disconnect all of those inner relationships that yogi’s called “Maya,” the production of Maya, the illusion. It was such a gift to spend time with someone who has been a life-changing force in my life, so let’s get on with an exciting, enlightening episode!
Unlock Olympic-Level Performance with Dr. Greg Wells

Dr. Greg Wells
In the 24/7 news cycle era that we’re living in it’s so easy to doomscroll social media late at night, which is a little like wanting to eat that whole, big juicy pizza pie, even though in the back of your mind you know if you do you’re probably going to be sick.
My guest today, Dr. Greg Wells is a fascinating guy who has written four best-selling books – Superbodies, The Ripple Effect, The Focus Effect, and Rest, Refocus, Recharge. He’s had a lot of amazing life experiences that have informed his career path, like selling everything he owned and riding his bike across Africa. It’s part of what made him a possibilitarian—someone who advocates for intentionally having a raised awareness to bring positive energy to your life, health, and social interactions. Dr. Wells is a PhD in physiology, he continues to serve as a senior scientist and Translational Medicine at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
In this episode, we talk about how this pandemic has forced us to slow down, and how we can use that time to reevaluate our perspective. We go deep into topics like how your behavior—the things you say, even to an inanimate object like Google or Alexa can actually rewire your brain. It’s really fascinating stuff that you’re not going to want to miss, so stay tuned for a great episode!
Work Smarter, Not Harder with Laura Roeder

Laura Roeder
When your market is small businesses, there will always be customers for you if you’re solving a problem. It’s not a winner take all scenario. These are wise words from today’s guest, Laura Roeder. Laura taught herself how to build websites in junior high, then in her early 20’s, she noticed that entrepreneurs wasted a lot of time doing tasks that can be handled by good software. She went on to start up MeetEdgar, an awesome tool for social media scheduling and content management that I am a big fan of.
With so many ventures going on in her life, Laura has some wisdom to impart about time management. Her latest venture, Paperbell, was born of finding a niche that no one else was filling—it’s a tool for online coaches to manage their contracts, scheduling, payments, and organize their business. I’m just so impressed with all that Laura has been able to accomplish, and I think you’re going to find her insights really refreshing and inspiring. So without any further ado, on with the show!

Go Big or Go Home with Jeff Hoffman

Jeff Hoffman
When Leonard Nimoy edges William Shatner out as the new guy to be the voice of the company… It was one of my favorite spots for the incredibly successful travel site, Priceline, which my guest Jeff Hoffman helped build from the ground up. When the unknown startup managed to land Shatner, it started out as a coup for them, but after the wild success of Priceline, it turned out to be a huge coup for Shatner and it set the stage for startups to offer shares to land celebrity spokespeople. How’s that for brilliant dealmaking!
Jeff Hoffman has founded multiple startups–he is also a published author and Hollywood film producer. Jeff intentionally got involved in the entertainment industry to learn the Hollywood marketing strategies that intrigued him.
In today’s episode, we delve into what he learned from Hollywood—one of the winning formulas was starting at the end with what emotional response you want to get from your marketing, and then establishing the action you want the visitor to take right at that moment. We also talk about the power of responsibility, the reward of taking long shots, the power of having a generous mentor, being a mentor yourself…it’s such an inspiring interview, so without any further ado, let’s get into it!
The Science of Face Masks with Lee Weinstein

Lee Weinstein
Remember when the Diamond Princess
cruise ship was docked with a literal boatload of people getting infected with coronavirus? That gave MIT scientist Lee Weinstein clues as to how this virus, obviously airborne, was getting to people who were closed off in their cabins. Lee is my guest today, a brilliant guy I first encountered when I researched the connection between sleep and TMJ disorders and discovered the biofeedback headband he invented which trains people out of clenching and grinding their teeth in their sleep. Lee has been awarded over 30 patents, and he invented, among other things, laser tag!
So, he was not playing when he got down to testing the effectiveness of the variety of masks that people are using to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This is a fascinating, and of course, essential discussion because there’s so much we all still don’t know about this virus and the best ways to avoid it. In this episode, we talk about viral load vs. viral dose, the best masks, and the fancy devices out there which may or may not be effective in preventing the spread. Lee is willing to test any mask you send him for the next couple of weeks, and he generously gives his time here to talk about several fascinating topics, so without any further ado, let’s get on with the show.

Geometric Growth in Tough Times with Jay Abraham

Jay Abraham
Funnel vision, which is the polar opposite of what most people possess—tunnel vision—is the thing that distinguishes incremental growth from exponential, geometric growth. At its core, it is really about expanding your peripheral vision. It’s a way of grabbing ideas that are out there in the universe. Of course, not every idea you have will come to fruition or even should, but the openness of imagining things and exploring various outcomes is so valuable, not just in business but in life.
My guest for this episode, Jay Abraham has funnel vision. You may wonder what a marketing genius like this guy has to say about optimizing your life, and the answer is… a lot! Because he’s been such an enormous influence not only on my thinking, but also world-changers like Tony Robbins, Dr. Mercola, Dave Asprey, I’ve interviewed Jay on both this show and on my Marketing Speak podcast on multiple occasions, and in fact, this episode you’re about to hear originally aired on Marketing Speak.
So, if you’re a loyal Marketing Speak listener, you may have already heard this episode before. Even if that’s the case, I invite you to listen again. Because the context of the world we’re currently living in has changed. You NEED to apply Jay’s brilliance in your business or career, so that you can get out of survival mode and into thriving mode. In this episode, Jay and I dig into how to live a full and rich life where your business is just one piece of a puzzle that includes health, vitality, spirituality, and dedication to serving others.
